Hello

Maddy is from the West Midlands and has always had a love for exploring the outdoors and discovering new places. This passion for the world around her naturally led to an interest in geography, a subject she went on to pursue at university. After completing A-levels in Geography, Psychology, German, and Core Maths, Maddy began studying for a BA in Geography at the University of Sheffield.

At Sheffield, she particularly enjoys the balance of green spaces and the vibrancy of the city centre, which reflects the very reason she loves geography: the way different topics, places, and perspectives all connect and influence one another. Beyond her studies, Maddy is an active member of student life, playing football for both the university and the Geography Society, and she makes the most of her downtime by attending concerts.

Outside of academics and sport, Maddy has a strong commitment to giving back. A fun fact is that her family has volunteered for many years training guide dogs, an experience that has been both rewarding and inspiring.
