FAQs
Our sessions start from £27, with this rate applying primarily to lower year groups and subjects that are less in demand or less complex. Pricing for each subject and academic level is set individually to ensure that our rates remain both competitive and fair. Due to this tailored pricing structure, we are unable to publish all session costs on our website. Please feel free to contact us for a no-obligation discussion, where we can provide a clear breakdown of costs based on your specific requirements.
Sessions run for 60 minutes unless otherwise specified and agreed.
Yes! While we cover the majority of mainstream GCSE and A-Level subjects, we are always looking to expand our team and the range of subjects we offer. If you require tuition in a subject we don’t currently offer, please get in touch. Through our extensive network of tutors, we can often connect you with an experienced and reliable tutor in the subject you’re seeking.
We provide subject-based tuition from Primary through to A-Level, ensuring comprehensive support across all key stages. Several members of our team specialise in Primary and Key Stage 3 education, having undertaken specific training to deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to younger learners.
While we do not currently offer formal subject-based tuition at university level, our Special Project Assistance service is designed to support university students with targeted guidance and academic projects.
While our primary focus is on 1:1 tutoring, we also offer group sessions at a reduced rate per student. However, we are generally unable to arrange groups on behalf of students. If you already have a group of learners who would like to take part in a joint session, we would be happy to facilitate this. Please contact us for further details.
Our team of tutors are specialists in their subjects, combining both expertise and proven results. To become a Suppree Tuition tutor, candidates must have prior tutoring experience with a demonstrated track record of success, as well as achieving a grade 9 and/or A* in the subject they teach.
Additionally, our tutors are currently pursuing university degrees that complement their chosen subjects, ensuring they remain deeply engaged and up-to-date with the material they teach.
We believe that this unique combination of personal academic success and current studies places our tutors in an ideal position to educate others. They not only understand the syllabus in depth but also possess up-to-date revision strategies, exam techniques, and insider tips that many traditional teachers may not be as familiar with.
Most of our lessons are conducted online, as our tutors are located across the country. However, local tutors may be available for in-person sessions. Please note that switching from online to in-person lessons may involve a small additional weekly fee. If you’re interested in in-person tuition, please contact us with your postcode to check availability.
