My Story

Education has always been part of who I am. My mother, great aunt, and great-great aunt were all teachers in primary and secondary schools across Manchester, and their passion for education has deeply inspired me. After completing my A-Levels, I began my career as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant at a local high school. It was in this role that I truly understood the transformative power of education.

Every learner has their own story, background, and challenges, but they all share the same goal — to grow and succeed. This experience taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and empathy. It also ignited my passion for creating a business that makes quality tuition accessible to everyone, regardless of background or starting ability. From this vision, Suppree Tuition was born.

My Mission
At Suppree Tuition, I believe education is about more than just academic achievement it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and resilience. My mission is to empower every student to realise their potential and feel proud of their progress, no matter where they begin.

My Experience & Qualifications
I have been tutoring privately for over five years, covering a wide range of subjects including science, English, maths, languages, and, more recently, psychology which I now specialise in. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at Suppree Tuition, I take safeguarding and student well-being very seriously.

I hold relevant qualifications in all the subjects I teach, as well as a certificate in Psychological Trauma from Harvard University. My years of experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students have shaped both my approach and the ethos I instill in my team.

My Approach
I believe in tailored, engaging sessions that meet each student’s unique needs. Academic progress is important, but confidence-building is at the heart of everything I do. I encourage students not only to improve in their subjects but to believe in themselves and develop a positive relationship with learning.

A Little About Me
Alongside running Suppree Tuition, I am currently studying Law full-time at the University of Sheffield. I firmly believe that the best educators are those who continue to learn and grow themselves.

Outside of work and study, I love reading, spending time with friends, trying new things, cooking, and travelling. These passions help me bring creativity, warmth, and real-world perspective to my tutoring.
